Tadashi Shoji Opens Online Shop!

Look no further because on April 12, 2012 American Fashion Designer Tadashi Shoji launched his online shop! Tadashi is a very seasoned designer who has been in the industry for over twenty-five years.
Born and raised in Sendai, Japan he moved to Tokyo where he had an apprenticeship with contemporary artist Jiro Takamatsu. He then moved to the United States attending a university in Los Angeles and earning a degree in Fashion Design. Also he work with costume designer Bill Whitten in the seventies and had the opportunity to created designs for A-list celebrites Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons, Earth, Wind, & Fire and more! The designer established his line in 1982; His well known designs sold at major department stores including Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, and Macy’s however it was not until the Fall of 2007 when his signature collection walked the runway at New York Fashion Week.
Tadashi Shoji has be worn by many celebrities, recently Leandria Johnson wore one of his designs on BET “Celebration of Gospel”. Octavia Spencer also walked the red carpet at the 2012 Oscars and S.A.G. Awards wearing Tadashi Shoji where she won Best Supporting Actress at both awards shows!
