  In 2008 I created The Go Getta Scholarship. My first year of the scholarship no one applied but the years after that I had many applicants each year. I have been blessed to receive funding through many contributing Go Gettas, fundraising, and my own personal donations.

After a series of issues that occurred in my life, I realized that a lot of women were unhappy with themselves and in return suffered from insecurities issues, lack of self-respect and even lacking respect for other women. As I had the chance to speak with more women I notice
