Mary Nicole Douglas, C.E.O. of M.N.D. Accounting, is an innovative entrepreneur who is always thinking outside of the box to create new ideas and solutions to financial barriers. Mary Nicole is an experienced professional with more than ten years of experience in tax accounting. M.N.D. Accounting, an accounting firm with offices in Charlotte, NC and Buffalo, NY, serves clients all over the United States.
Mary Nicole was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She is no stranger to perseverance, determination and motivation. At the young age of 16 years old she became a mother. Statistically speaking the odds were against her but she defeated them. She lives by a mantra…”Let’s GO”! Mary Nicole did not settle for the stigmas of society. Instead she allowed her ambitions and drive to motivate her to excel in the field of Accounting. She graduated high school and attended college and took her son along with her for the journey. She attended SUNY Brockport her freshman year of college. Deciding she wanted to leave the cold weather, she moved to Greensboro, NC to continue pursuit of her college degree. Mary received her Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from North Carolina A & T State University, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Mary Nicole began her accounting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her role in the Personal Financial Services Group gave her the opportunity to perform tax compliance for high net-worth clients. She has also worked for other Fortune 500 companies such as Bank of America and TIAA-CREF.
She has a passion for helping others gain and maintain good financial health. Her focus is not only on her adult clients but she also focuses on helping young men and women to learn and practice good financial habits that they can continue into their adult lives. Taking control of finances is not just something for adults; Mary Nicole believes teenagers and young adults need to have the same focus and is committed to giving tips and strategies to get and keep clients and their children in good financial health.
