On January 13, 2012 I had the opportunity be the Mistress of Ceremonies for the City of Buffalo Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration. The commemoration is an opportunity to celebrate Dr. King and his legacy of service not only for civil rights but justice for all mankind. It is the City of Buffalo’s purpose to celebrate him and those who have followed in his legacy of service. As a past recipient of the Dr, Martin Luther King Jr. service awards given by Mayor Byron Brown it was truly an honor to serve as this year’s Mistress of Ceremonies.
