It often amazes me how quickly the New Year have come, I feel like it was just January 2011. Well every Year I would sit down and draft up my new year resolutions. I would think long and hard of what it is I would like to do or not continue to do in the next year as if because its a New Year I am not the same me. As I look back over previous New Year resolutions I find that somethings I did not accomplish and I had to ask my self Why? Why wasn’t I able to accomplish this resolution? And the only answer that I got was that I never changed ME. Despite me writing down what it is I wanted to accomplish or to do for the next year I never identified how I would get there and the challenges I could possibly face and what it is I needed to change about me to help me get there.
I have come to a great realization that it is me who will get ME where I need to be and it is ME who will keep me from where I want to be. So this New Year I have decided not not make a long list and call then resolutions but this time around I have decided to make a deceleration to change ME.
Once your change yourself, your way of thinking, operating and treating people, you develop a better understanding of self, who you are where your going and how your getting there. So join me for 2012 and bot just make resolutions but declare that you will be a better YOU!
