Adriana “ADRI.V” Viverette-Gamble also known as “The Go Getta” started as the youngest intern at WBLK 93.7, she is now gracing the airs for the very same station she once interned for at Townsquare media in Buffalo NY. “The Go Getta” slogan is not only a motto for life, but it has become her PLAN FOR ACTION! At an early age she realized that one must ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK, with this plan for motion she landed the job of her dreams. Always known as the talkative little girl, with the gift of gab it should be of no surprise that ADRI.V sounds like she was born to be on the radio. Her love for music and entertainment came natural at an early age, leading her to the realization that she NEEDED a career that involved both. Staying glued to the radio, she was determined to one day be on the other side. ADRI.V graduated from the University at Buffalo with a B.A in Communications and Minor in media studies. Between her studies, ADRI.V took full advantage of gaining all experience necessary by interning at her local radio station WBLK 93.7 FM, Black Entertainment Television (BET) and Cable News Network (CNN). She was heavily involved in college and as the general manager of the college radio station, WRUB and SATV host.Now equipped with her Master in Business Administration, ADRI.V is currently rocking the mic every from 10PM-2AM, where she get listeners ready to Get up, Get out and Go Get It Every Friday from 10PM to Saturday 2AM with “The GoGetta Mix in Buffalo, NY 93.7 WBLK where she features non radio DJ’s and Unsigned Artist from Western New York, Southern Ontario and surrounding cities. Being the Go Getta That she is with much hard work ADRI.V landed her second radio job as a weekend personality in Rochester, NY every Saturday 6PM-10PM on 103.9 WDKX where she host the “Weekly Top 10 Count Down” and “Da Joint” along side the Supa Cru DJs.In her short time ADRI.V has covered all shifts on radio on several occasions. So far in her career, she has worked with and interviewed many celebrities. These include artists, Common, Ludacris, Mims, Robin Thick, NAS, Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, Chrisette Michele, Sean Paul, Spragga Benz, Anthony David, Lloyd, Teyana Taylor, Rick Ross, Tyga and Soulja Boy; Hip Hop Legends KRS-One, Slick Rick and Biz Markie; Professional athletes, NBA player Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs, NFL Rookie Mike Williams of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Naaman Roosevelt and Draytone Florence Buffalo Bills and James Starks of the Green Bay Packers. ADRI.V has hosted events for the Mayor of Buffalo and New York State Senator.
ADRI.V is the main host for the annual New York State Drill and Step Show Competition. She has hosted major concerts and countless parties along the side of some the greatest DJs, like Heavy Hitters DJ Enuff, DJ C-Lo, DJ Camilo, DJ Kast One, DJ Shortman, Rochester’s, NY own DJ Green Lantern and Gangstagrillz DJ Drama.As a multi-media personality, she is not only gifted on the radio, but she has also served as a television personality for the Hip Hop television Show “Late Nte Noise” which aired on channel 7 WKBW ABC Affiliate hosting her on segment. With a love for motivating and empowering youth, she has become the “Voice of the Youth” becoming a motivational speaker carrying the message of pursuing higher education and the importance of being a “Go Getta”.
Through her own philanthropic efforts and understanding the need to give back, ADRI.V founded The Go Getta scholarship and created the “I Am A Go Getta” Initiative, Enrichment and Mentoring Program, which focuses on motivating and encouraging youth and young adults to dream big, strive for excellence and never give up hope on their dreams. Achieving just a few of her goals so far, ADRI.V views it as a blessing and responsibility to inspire others to be a “Go Getta” and to go after their dreams. She mentors and give back regularly to her community and feels it is important to stand as a positive example. Through her life youth can see what happens when you knock and the doors of opportunity open.
